Oh dear, I am so sorry! If it makes you feel any better it is common to get sick after you quit smoking. Within a month of when I quit I came down with a terrible sinus infection and then another in January. Just hang in there and take care of yourself as best you can. It will get better, I promise!

gah that is nuts.. my soft pallet area is on fire.. like right between my nose and back of my throat.. then my throat makes me squench my face every time I am forced to swallow (aging me faster than the smoking squint) and my ears the dr said are both bulging so they hurt adn I cant hear anyone... le sigh.. oh and since I was so freakin ill yesterday I missed my last day as a helper parent at my sons preschool so my husband got to go in my place.. and you know that rotten fink (sorry love of my life) did not enjoy it nearly as much as I would have.. but he prolly did not get all weepy like I would have either.. so I guess all is well that ends without making my son embarrassed cause his goofy mom wont stop blubbering and giving him slobbery kisses.. I dont really think I would have done that... MUCH!

so proud of you for sticking to not smoking two weeks is a massive achievment. maybe the sickness is like a test of your will power can you keep not smoking even when you feel like sh*t! i think you can! rest up and relax and hopefully you will feel better tomorrow :)

Aw...my oldest son is going to be a sophomore and my daughter will be a freshman in HIGH SCHOOL! Then the two "little" boys will be in 6th and 7th grade!
