Saw the gyno today. She agrees with the ER dr.'s that it's prob either scar tissue or endometriosis. She is putting me on birth control for the next three months--if it's endometriosis (depending on how bad it is) the birth control might help. If it's scar tissue, it won't. In three months, 12/31 to be exact, if I haven't had some improvement, I will have to have surgery. She will insert a camera into my lower abdomen and have a look around to figure out exactly what is causing all the pain and other issues. If endometriosis is there, she will scrape it out. If it is scar tissue, she will have to cut it out, and possibly other things, depending on what the scar tissue is wrapped around. I don't want to deal with any of this, just frustrated with it all.
I have been fighting some swelling in my abdomen which makes me upset because some of my new clothes no longer want to fit right. I know it is swelling and not weight gain because, even though I'm not weighing in, I'm watching the scale and am technically maintaining pretty good. Gonna start back on my diet next week and just work on what I can control--my weight! Maybe getting the rest of my extra weight off will help things in the long run. Doesn't hurt to try! :)

I'm so sorry to hear you are going through all this. Before I got pg with my last son I had terrible cramps in my stomach and back every day for almost five months before they figured out it was endometriosis. I now have to stay off gluten and tomatoes or else I am in a world of pain. In the prosses you might want to go to a gluten free diet to see if it helps with the pain. It took me a while to finally switch cmpletely over but it is worth it. It keeps most of my pain away except for some of the other things that bring it on. Hope you find whats wrong and feel better.

I truly hope you show some improvement in 3 months with your treatment so that you don't have to have surgery. I'm sure that getting the rest of the weight will help all around. Maybe you can find out what may help nutritionally.
