I'm getting so incredibly frustrated. Over the last 4 weeks I've been working out hardcore and eating very healthy and controlling my portions. Except for maybe one day a week where I have a drink with friends, I'm doing amazingly well. I even cut out all caffiene and am drinking my 8 glasses of water. The problem, I will go down a pound, then gain a pound, then down a pound and then gain a pound. I feel like I'm not going anywhere. This week I increased my workout and still the same problem. (Added on a bike ride in the morning, 5 miles and jogging at night 2 miles). I haven't seen much difference in my measurements either. I'm seriously hoping that I will start seeing some change soon! Anyone out there is fatsecret land have any sort of advice?

A girl in my WW meetings had the same problem for over a month. She decided to stop working out for a week to see if it made a difference... it did. :) Maybe your body has gotten use to your routine? Switch it up? You tried working out harder and that didn't help, so work out less and see what happens.

You're calories are really low for someone who's working out that much. It sounds counter-intuitive but you need to eat more otherwise you're sending your body into starvation mode my not giving it enough fuel for all the work it's doing. Up your calories by a couple hundred & increase the amount of lean protien in your diet. Also when you start working out you're muscle will retain water, so the scale won't always go down.

Are you eating your all your daily points every day? Are you getting in enough protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies? Are you drinking your water? Are you eating some of the flex points because high activity means you need to fuel your body to keep it burning (but make sure it's good healthy food, not processed)? Like "evil" said above, when you increase or change your workout, your muscles retain water to help them heal. You don't have a lot to lose and you may already be in a healthy weight range for your height and body frame. It can make losing more difficult. It may come down to "what" you are eating. You might try to up your protein (it burns more efficiently than any other food, but don't go above 30 grams at any one meal, it will just turn to fat if you don't burn it off). Get in lot's of fruit and veggies. You could try eating 5 or 6 smaller meals with some protein at each meal instead of 3 bigger meals (you spread your calories through out the day and keep your metabolism going). You are doing everything right. It's all comes down to diligence, consistency and patience. Good luck!
