FIVE POUNDS. AND STILL NOT ENOUGH. *sigh* Mr. Livingston kicked my butt by weighing in 1-point-something-percent ahead of me in this final round, and I feel a little bit bad -- just a little bit because I'm now down to 199 pounds. YAY!!!!! One thing is for sure. He might weigh less, but I can freakin' do some sit-ups. But damn it. I could have won $260.

I went to the gym to work off the frustration. Coulda woulda shoulda. But I glanced at myself in the mirror when I was working out, and I was like, OOOOHHH I LOOK BETTER. So now I'm torn between wanting to feel sorry for myself and admiring myself in the mirror. Even my face -- yes, the face! -- feels different.

I want to wallow in self-pity and boo-hoo about how it's NOT FAIR. But I just worked out for 2 hours at the gym, including my 20 minutes in the sauna, and I feel way too good to be whining. I was working on strengthening my knees, and I noticed how I actually have more muscle definition in my legs. Wow!

It's OK that I didn't win. I'm not done losing.
