It is all about balancing. That is the key to being healthy. I have finally learned this after being unhealthy and overweight for most of my adult life. Sadly.. I have done alot of dieting and never realized this before.
It is ok to have ice cream and cake as I did for my son's birthday party today. I have lost 41 pounds since April. I am going to a second party later today too and yeah I may have another piece of cake too. I am not failing.. I am living. But tomorrow I will be very stict on my eating and work out a little longer than I normally would.
Don't get down on yourself if you give in and enjoy.. you have to. We aren't perfect people!! I have 54 pounds more to lose and I will do it, but I am not perfect... but i will get there!!
