Good Morning my FS Friends.

Today is a GREAT NEWS day.

When I joined FS back in 2011 I was 223lbs and I was becoming unwell. I got diagnosed with:

Type 2 diabetes
Glaucoma
High Blood pressure
High cholesterol

I felt like I was the pharmacy's best customer taking many pills, drops, tests etc.

Yesterday I went to the doctors and finally after all this time I was signed off ALL tablets and marked as a recovered diabetic on the system.

This really was a BIG thing for me as I am so pleased my hard work and effort has paid off.

My goal is to now get in the normal weight bracket and I am only 5lbs away and then stay healthy.

I am going away on Holiday in 10 days to China & Japan for which I am so excited.

My success has been down to:

1) Controlling my Calorie intake
2) Rebalancing my diet to 35% Carbs 30% Fat 35% Protein
3) Walking three miles a day 5 days a week
4) The love and support of my FS Friends.
EVERYONE ONE OF YOU HAVE MADE A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE!

@chick....that would be a miracle but no just one eyedrop a day as it has been for many years and that is not weight related it is pressure caused by scaring after I got glass in eye as a child....sometimes it is what it is ❤️🐝x

Well done! It’s reading people’s comments like yours that makes this site special and worth wild it proves that anything can be done if your just willing to make changes and work hard, you said that everyones supported you on FS but you have given support to others many times as well, hope you have a great time enjoy your visit 👍

MrGoodNight, does this mean you have specific food preferences? How do you deal with it when you eat outside?

@nazru.... I am careful with my food choices....if it helps my food choices are as follows: 1) porridge every morning with a special topping which I so unhealthy but it works (cream and sugar) 2) it is difficult for me to ingest so much protein just as meat etc so I have three scoops of whey or egg protein with skimmed milk a day 3) plenty of good quality peanut butter...it’s expensive but worth it...I have about one large jar a week (2-3 teaspoons a day) Only peanuts and maybe a touch of salt 4) plenty of good food fish, chicken, veg 5) a daily meringue nest with creme fraiche and fresh fruit 6) no potatoes, root veg, rice, pasta, biscuits, pastry, cake or chocolate except as an exceptional treat 7) if eating out just order the main without the sides or things in 6 and don’t eat it all ❤️X
