Wednesday! Vacation went ok...had lots of fun but didn't eat low carb enough to stay in Induction. It was soooo hot out! I am running a 5K this Sunday, at least I know I am ready for that. Loved the gratitude list a couple folks on here are using, so I think I'll join in.

I'm grateful for:

a very reasonable job that I mostly enjoy
my dearest oldest friends who love me

Have fun on your 5K. I attempted my first at the end of June but wasn't really ready for it. I walked and ran but I finished. Next year I'm shooting for running the entire run.

Thanks!! I have walked and run them before for sure, as long as I finish I am happy. Last October I did one with my mom, and I was so proud of her--she is 72 and she walked the whole way, it took her 55 minutes but she finished! I will never be very fast myself, my best is just under a twelve minute mile, but I'm going to try my first 10K in October, it really is so much fun! Good luck on your next run!
