Blah! It pisses me off that I spend so much of my day worrying about the #'s on that scale. If only I could focus that well on the other aspects of my life! I'm at the point now where I actually weigh myself several times a day. I know that it's not healthy, but I can't stop doing it.
208.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 53.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 2.3 lb a week

Actually, it's fine to weigh yourself whenever you want. As long as it doesn't make you feel bad and you understand that your weight can change hour to hour. Some people have unrealistic expectations. They think they should lose every day, and our bodies don't work like that. Do whatever works for you. If it bothers you to see the scale go up and down, then just weigh in once a week. Also, remember that the scale is just one way to measure weight loss (our clothes and body fat are others). Good luck!

My lowest weight is around 7am and by 10 pm I weigh 5 lbs more. Don't get discouraged and just use the weight in the morning.
