This is day one of recording what I eat... when you record it down it makes you think carefully about what you are eating.

Definitely does. Today's for me made me wonder if an enjoyable moment with Haribo was really worth it!!

It works for me! it's why I try whenever possible to enter the food [u]first[/] I managed to kill my Haribo addiction with sugar free jelly/jello. I made a pack up in little baby-food jars, 1 pack makes 6, and I had 1 or 2 whenever I had a sweet craving.

I think as well the fact that people can see what you are eating makes you think twice!

Had a meal out that raised the calorie intake. Still only 71%rdi total but not great foods... oh dear... my partner and I generally do a meal out once a week so may need to allow for that as it's something we both love to do. Didn't have any wine and had water instead. Perhaps do a run tomorrow...
