Day 8 229.5 lbs 8/16/2018

This morning I woke up to find I still lost weight. I got ready and caught a Lyft to work. I had a grapefruit. I hate the sour skin but I find eating it usually keeps me full. Today I still had the same issue with my email account not being found which lower my productivity 1/3. I then have coworker telling I needed to do Team Lead duties. I kinda back off of those since I'm part time now and I don't have an email address to do it anyway.

Eventually the lead came in and took care of it. She said she would help with my issue but didn't in the end. I don't mind as less work for me with a valid reason but on this diet I need to distract myself otherwise I look for snacks. Co-workers ordered lunch and didn't even ask me which was something the old weekend crew members wouldn't have done to me.

They eventually get the food and I wanted to watch them eat. At this point it was After 1 so I was very hungry. A co-worker gave me some celery sticks which sometime make me nauseous but I was too hungry to care. I devoured it quickly but noticed it had a sweet glaze. I got worried about the sugar contents and wanted to ask her. But didn't want to be a choosy beggar. I ultimately didn't really care as I licked and suck the sweet juice that got absorbed in the paper towl.

It was at that point I realized have a sugar addiction. and I hit a low point in this diet.

I got off work and before I left I saw she "Her". Normally, I don't want to see her and glad when I do it's only consist of 15 minutes of being around her but I need to see her over the next few weeks to make it a focus to get my body to where I was in better shape to have better options with women again.

I decided to not walk to the stop and took a Lyft back home.

I got home and cook a bag of spinach, a pod of ghost pepper, with shrimp with chick broth. I may have put too much water in the pot but I drank the extra soup water as it had zero calories.

In the evening I went jogging to Shop Rite and brought some organic Melba toast, an approved item along with some sweet and low which I think has a weird taste and wary of it brain cell killing chemicals. I think I read too much on things on the internet sometimes.

I cooked a few pieces of the chicken I had seasoned along with the second batch of asparagus spears for my meal tomorrow . I went to bed feeling okay.

If you can find Stevia powder (ground leaves and nothing else) you can make an extract by simply pouring boiling water over the powder in a coffee filter. The filter removes some of the bitterness raw Stevia can have. It doesn't take much of the extract to sweeten stuff. I make about one tea cup of the extract per month to sweeten stuff I eat and drink and I still have a little left over at the end. Stevia is much better than sugar or artificial sweeteners that are nothing but chemicals.
