the eating binge continues

Noooo... You've got to break free! Ditch (most of) the carbs! Every time you eat carbs, they are quickly metabolized, spike your blood sugar more than you can use for cell function, and get stored away as fat. AND this makes you hungry again quickly, so that you keep eating them. High protein, low carb diets will kill off that hunger, in large part because proteins take a heck of a lot longer to metabolize. And for the carbs you do eat, go take a hint from the 'glycemic index' and 'glycemic load' folks, who divvy up carb-bearing things by how quickly they spike your blood sugar and how long it stays spiked. You're better off with the ones that are more complex, and thus take longer to metabolize than the carbs that are closer to pure glucose. you can do this, you can break the binge!
