do you weigh your food?? it is easy to be off a bit which will mess with your calorie intake.

Yes, do you have a food scale

If you don’t that’s the problem, cups are not as accurate

Eating healthy has nothing to do with weight loss

You must be on a caloric deficit
19 Aug 18 by member: rosio19
You need to start measuring your vegetables and counting the calories

1200 calories sounds like a deficit to me Rosio

I’m on the app so can’t see a food log. Have you been at 1200 for a long time? I was for 12 weeks then stalled. I slowly raised calories to maintenance levels and now I’m losing again with just a 100-200 calorie deficit. Not much, 1-2# per month but it’s fine for now. If you truly are at 1200 after weighing foods for a week then I’d suggest more exercise. I lift weights about 40-60 min per week, 2x30 min cardio per week, 1 gym class and 1-3 home workouts each week. If it’s a light workout I don’t log it and just use my step counter that tracks calories burned. I believe the combination of raising my calories to just under maintenance and adding in the extra exercise is what helped me start losing again. Good luck!

I did not want to comment on that 1200 number, yes to me it’s too low

I don’t think she measures correctly, I think that she eats clean and she thinks eating healthy will make her lose weight

She’s eating too many calories

She thinks she’s eating 1200, well that’s only what I perceive 🤷🏻‍♀️

Do weight training and weigh your food. I’m a vegetarian as well. Make sure you are eating enough protein and you should start losing weight with having more muscle mass to burn calories with.

I was at about 900 but told to increase as my body would think it is starving. I am convinced I am measuring right.

activity does help as you go along and I saw you had a pretty big day the other day, that will definitely effect things. some days you are lower carb too, keeping your carbs reasonable and getting more fiber and protein is pretty important. I am on a totally different plan, but balance is important in any diet.

Omg 900 sorry I can’t

I can’t believe someone eats that little amount of calories

Rosio, it can be done lol. I’ve had a few of those 800-1000 days. That was before working out though. I’d never be able to do even two days of that now! Wouldn’t have the energy to workout. Patricia, I’m thinking your body had adapted to the lower calories. Ask your dr about metabolic adaptation and for a good exercise program based on your fitness. You’ll find that you can lose more with more meaningful activity. That or a LOT more meaningful activity and you can eat a bit more or splurge on a treat every once in awhile.
