Just bought the e-book, "Strong Curves" by Bret Contreras off of Amazon. It comes in paperback as well. I've followed him online for a while. They call him the "glute guy". The book has full body work out routines that are heavier on the glutes. It's got sciency stuff as well as to why the glutes are important. Might wanna check it out.

I've never had a flat butt...lol I need to get it smaller first then we can work on the glutes increasing.

Bodyweight movements won't do much. Like Swankelly mentioned, Contreras is the glute master and I'm pretty sure he incorporates heavy weighted movements.

Diablo360x Yes but it also depends on our fitness level. Beginners should sometimes start with body weight. Also helps to learn the movements. ☺ That book has differnt levels. The beginner's course has bodyweight exercises with a little weight to start.
I fortunately have a pretty good base from years of working out off and on. I started with a lot of bodyweight and ankle weights.

@JJSinger same way no matter what, my booty stays. I end up with a J-Lo but at least that is more popular. I am definitely the hourglass when thinner.
