Yesterday, Friday Aug 10, I had Sue over for dinner. She marinated my tri tip in Yoshida's, and we grilled it. A few problems. We ran out of fuel in the middle of cooking. Subsequently, Sue made all the meat VERY well done. She was a good sport, but, after all, she was the cook. We went a little bit crazy with corn chips and salsa before dinner. The salsa I made was so, so good. It was my usual summer recipe. Simple. Clean. Healthy. Tomatoes, green onion, red onion, garlic, salt. That's it! I did not count any of those things. Or the butter on the bread. Bad, bad me!
