BG -- 114. ...Well, I finally logged that 2 lbs I gained yesterday, thinking it'd be gone today but just weighed and it's still there plus and extra lb:( So out of desperation I rechecked my measurements today. I've lost 2 inches off my chest, 2 inches off my waist an inch off my hips and an inch off my calf. There was no change on my thighs (big surprise lol)and the inches from my chest is the fat from my back mostly as my cup size is the same thank goodness:) The weight gain could be from the water I've been drinking but I also could be building muscle. I have been mostly sitting or in bed these last 2 years due to severe exhaustion and pain which the exhaustion is amazingly less now I'm eating low carb. The pain is still there but with it warming up I'm better. Anyway, my point is I could easily be rebuilding muscle because of my increase activity. I would never have thought to do any kind of "dance" exercise because I would literally fall down just trying. incidentally, since low carbing my vertigo is gone and my balance has greatly improved. I can now balance on the balls and heels of my feet for a a few seconds which I haven't been able to do for years. Low Carb WORKS!!!

Hang in there girl. I am one who seems to gain back a couple lbs and have to lose them again (sometimes again!!!). Keep working and measuring. Keep up with lots of water!Even if you lose slow you are still working your way down!

It's a struggle at times, but we'll all get there. I'm working on 'new weight' right now. I've never been this heavy in my life, but once I lose another 20 or so pounds, I'll be starting on the ones I lost years ago. lol.

Ruby, it is very likely that you are building muscle and that may have something to do with your weight gain. The inches are coming off, and often they are a better indicator of what is going on with our bodies than the scale. Glad to hear that your syptoms have lessened. The same is true with my lupus. Just don't give up, the weight will fall. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Mother's Day!

It's a battle all right, yet a battle worth fighting, I know. There's just times... Thank you everyone. Your posts are so encouraging and informative. I appreciate each and every one of you! And a HAPPY MOTHER's DAY to you all as well! My wish for Mother's Day is that our pants become even baggier still, lol!
