Made the move! I weighed myself Saturday morning (more like 11:30AM) and I still managed to drop some weight. My sleep schedule changed a little bit. I wake up pretty much at 12 and don't go to bed until almost 2:30AM/3:00AM. I still get plenty of sleep, but I end up getting a good amount of sleep still. I have never been a morning person anyway, I keep trying to do things I'm not because of what other people want or expect. Other people want me to get up in the morning or expect me to get up sooner and if I don't they make snide comments about it. I don't waste the whole day sleeping. It would be different if I did, but I don't.

This whole semester off and this whole summer has been a nice road to some more self discovery. I'm proud how far I've come. I'm also pretty happy too, I still have the stressors of life but aside from that I'm happy. I'm not financially great or quite fully happy with my body and weight, I don't have your typical job either - kind of identifying as self employed or right now because technically I haven't made any money yet I'm just unemployed, but I saved up enough to where I can do it - but I'm generally happy. Happy with my boyfriend, happy with how things are improving with our living situation and so on. :)

Before Industrialization of society Humans used a bifurcated sleeping cycle. There would be what was referred to as first sleep a period of several hours, people were up for several hours in the night then second sleep.

@rebeccaberg, maybe I should try that. I'm trying to figure out what works for me and my inability to be a natural morning person just doesn't work for me. So many hours are wasted on my low energies in the morning vs when I wake up, it is a natural happy wake up which turns my day into an energetic productive day. So far staying up late and sleeping in has been the best for me. It's changed my eating habits because I don't eat my first meal of the day until like 2/3pm almost and so I am not hungry until later in the night but I have still been dropping weight so something is working.
