Adding low GI to Atkins. I think it would be a good combination. Tired of depending on sucralose to fix my sweet cravings and would rather eat fruit. Low GI snacks is what I need. After reading the GI book, it was basically what I was doing before I started Atkins. So combining the two may be beneficial for me. I added carbs already and I'm not nearly fainting when I stand up. My body needs more fiber too. We will see. So far so good. I added more carbs and immediately I had more energy and stopped nearly fainting when I stood up. I think I stayed at 20 carbs for way too long and it affected my body pretty bad. Today is a wash. Starting tomorrow.

It is great that you are paying attention to what your body seems to need. We are all different in how we respond, and it is amazing how small adjustments can make a huge difference. Hope this helps you move forward with more energy. :)
