Yesterday I beat the cake demon, for the most part. I ended up eating a few bites of cake, which I did record in my food diary and it may have been a high estimation, but I threw most of the cake out. I had a few people who gave me the suggestions for saying no next time, and I usually do, it's harder for me when they set the cake on my desk and wait around for me to take a bite. It didn't do any damage, so I'm just proud of myself for actually throwing almost all of it out. My old habit would have been to eat both pieces of cake and then skip my lunch or healthier options later, and maybe not even do a workout because I would feel miserable after eating the junk food. I know I can have willpower, I just need to keep exercising it.
Today, there is no cake to worry about. I've got my healthy options and I'm moving forward. Also on the plus side, tomorrow is Friday!!
