Bandrai's Journal, 09 July 2018

Well it is just ridiculously disappointing how long I am stuck round this number. If you're more active, eating less lifting weights .. omg how is it possible not to drop down weight wise? Anyway, I am just going to try and focus on the health and strength and more home cooking with small portions. But it is really very difficult not getting down about being up and down the same 5/7lbs every single time. I just hope that eventually the numbers will improve in line with all these past 3/4 months of hard effort!!! The scales were back up again around 147/148... after weeks and weeks of this I am practically totally exhausted by it :(( Hope the world out there is doing better than I am at this point.

the scale is not the best indicator of success. with working out a lot you will also be building up your muscles. losing fat which weighs hardly anything, you may see more in the mirror than on the scale. I am going through the same thing and I feel that as I built that muscle I was underfeeding. I got down in the 800 range for calories and not enough protein to fuel my workouts. You may want to look at your macro and calorie needs. I just adjusted mine up starting yesterday and I will tell you just the extra protein (set around 70gm) made a huge difference in fueling my work outs. I did twice as many reps easily

I SO feel your frustration. Same thing here. I’ve been doing aerobics and walking over 10,000 steps every day, as I have been since March. Same weight I was before starting 4 months ago, despite eating RDA’s and avoiding high-fat and excess carbs. While I’ve toned up tremendously in my lower thighs and glutes, belly fat is hanging on and refusing to budge. Feeling better but would like to trim down. What to DO. WHAT to do?

I only saw one day of your food diary, do you always eat that many snacks?? or is that just a one time deal?? all those carbs if late in the day can really have an impact. maybe if you switch around a little with some different options for snacks or recharging food after work outs. Just looking to see if any thing popped out to me. you are very active and switching around a little on healthier snacks if about all I saw of possible options to help you get that last few pounds. Your calories are definitely in line for a slower weight loss with your activity level.

The important thing is not to get so down on yourself you quit, or wreak your eating habits. Just keep plugging along, watching your meals,re-evaluating as necessary, and exercising.....Your body will sort itself out.... Best of luck

Good news! Lost 2 lbs. Was using only the Pacer app to track daily steps and exercises. When I started tracking my calories with this app, I finally started losing. I just stated using the app. If you don’t give up Bandrai, your brain will “get the message” that you’re serious and your metabolism will kick into gear.
