Well, a big eye opener is realising that I don't need much food and I'll be ok.(won't be vitamin deficient)

And really, when you think about it, that is good news on many levels! I've studied my habit and have started doing the following:

Decreasing my plate size.
Filling my plate and immediately put the rest in a storage container, (if not in the fridge) so that I don't go back for seconds- I live alone, I can eat directly from the stove if I want - lol)
Realizing that I'm such a good cook that I want more thereafter, but I just say no to myself, as it's not longer physical hunger but the pleasure centers in the brain that are activated. And I do something else! (Feeding time is over!)
I've also started some mild aerobics for 15 minutes 2 or 3 times a week and weight lifting. I've known that muscle burns fat and that should help with my metabolism.
168.2 lb Lost so far: 10.8 lb.    Still to go: 29.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
