Been to see my dietician today. Am going to be embarking on the Newcastle diet soon to reverse my type 2 diabetes. 800 calories a day for 8 weeks 😮

Diet Calendar Entry for 25 June 2018:
1710 kcal Fat: 64.64g | Prot: 93.03g | Carb: 189.10g.   Breakfast: Canderel Tablet, Coffee with Milk, Milk (Whole Milk), Nestle Shredded Wheat. Lunch: Tesco Sliced Green Beans, Morrisons Petit Pois, Tesco Lamb Shanks in Mint Gravy. Dinner: Walkers Smoky Bacon Crisps (25g), Heinz Salad Cream, Tesco Finest Super Seeded Farmhouse Bread, Tesco Cooked Ham. Snacks/Other: Milk (Whole Milk), Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes, Golden Delicious Apples, Muller Banana Crunch Corner. more...

Sounds great, good luck. I watched a tv programme about a similar diet on itv a few weeks ago, it was called the fast fix, very informative. They stuck to 800 cals, and had impressive results. It sounds like you’ve done your homework, don’t let anyone put you off 😉

good luck you can do it. vent on here on hard days and just think of the massive positive. i just had test for type 2 and i was ok but have it repeated every year. my dads just reversed his hes 70 this year. diet change is the best way. the program on itv was great about it and worked
