This morning I woke up thinking, (scary)!! That it is the end of July and I have not really done any real summer activities yet, except the ferstivals with mom! Somehow I'm okay with it tho.
My other thoughts have been on body image and how I compare myself to someone I work with. We weigh 5lbs differnceN yet she looks to me 25lbs lighter. She's constantly telling me we are the same size but she is so damn tiny! I by no means aspire to being her size because reality states that my skeleton is much larger. Not my actual bones but the frame work of how they are put together if that makes any sence.
For once I am seriously looking at myself in the mirror and not looking for flaws but positive things that reinforce the numbers on the scale. For me that is a huge positive accomplishment.
Anyways continuing on my Monday was very long and boring, really disliked being at work when the rest of the plant is on shut down. But on ther flip side it means I am able to split up my vacation. As for food well I ate too little at lunch and then ate too much at dinner. Still working on balancing that one out. Slowly but surely I will. For dinner I made bean patties, they were interesting and full of protein. I have re-newed my creative cooking side again. Taking the same ingredients and adding some twists to it. The rest of my evening was pretty low key!
Today however is a new day, and another chance to be creative!

Great outlook, as usual! It's pretty cool when you find yourself liking your reflection and seeing good things. Being creative in the kitchen helps with healthy eating. It's fun to experiment as long as you make what you want to eat and not what you 'think you should eat.' I did that for a while and quickly stopped eating healthy. I haven't had a bean burger that I liked yet, but have only tried a few black bean options. I like black beans, but it didn't do anything for me. Any suggestions?

Your tastes in foods in so exotic & interesting! My palate seems bland & plain by comparison! We are having some fall like weather here & the cool temperatures are pleasant but the feeling of fall coming makes me sad that we have had such a short HOT summer. A long comfortable summer would have been our preference. The cost is often a reason we do not do some of the "activities" associated with summer. We keep things small but happy - as do you & yours.
