Good Evening Lovelies ♥

Hope everyone is having a great day today. I myself spent the day with RATS.

Isn't he a cute wee chap? He looks just like my one, Number 13 :D

It sure was different and I loved it

INSPIRATIONS

JODI PICOULT

I would have to say this woman is one of the greatest writers of all time. I LOVE HER BOOKS.

Last night in a period of 2 hours I managed to buy 7 of her books online. OMG I know, I am a bad bad girl!!

I discovered her at the end of high school, I've only read 5 of her books, they were the only ones out at that time, but however when I started university reading went to the back burner and me being the avid reader I'd have to admit a part of me kind of died that day.

Frankly, as much as I love science, reading textbooks everyday is not the same. I made a vow this week I WILL start reading passionately again. Hopefully not too much as I did in high school as waiting for the library shipment of new books each week got a tad annoying as they weren't buying faster than I could read.

If anyone else, could recommend some amazing authors to be I would be greatly appreciated!! :)

BLUE BLOODS

Yes, I did it again, from starting this journal to this part exactly 3 minutes and 52 seconds I managed to buy another 3 books!

I do love a scandal, these books are about vampires. NOT TWILIGHT, I hate that over inflated FAD of a series.

But crossed with Gossip Girl, I am an original GG fan. I read the whole series in high school before they went and changed it all, and the similarities between these books are uncanny "poor little rich girl syndrome" too much money too much freedom crossed with blood thirst.

How riveting :D. I definitely need a little trash in my life other than COSMO to read between classes, cos trust me after 15 minutes I'm done and then what do I have to read?? lol

GARLIC

My lab partner is an avid vegan and knows just about everything about food. We had coffee yesterday Soy fair trade coffee of course :). We got to the topic of food and she was telling me the garlic and the supermarket is sprayed and treated with a coating that if you were to plant it it wouldn't grow due to this coating. This made me kind of mad. NO MORE SUPER MARKET GARLIC!

GOALS

Take more photos.

By any chance does anyone know how to put photos from your computer on here ie journals? I know how to do it using web links, but what about using photos on your hard drive or out of iPhoto (My weapon of choice is Apple MacBook

Go swimming

Have a sauna

Hope everyone has a great day :) I know I will!!!!
I'll be sitting at the letterbox waiting for my books :)

I ♥ rats! They are VERY social creatures! Had some in 6th grade :) I am a big reader also! I just read "The Last Song"(Miley Cyrus movie) by Nicholas Sparks(I prob wouldn't have picked it but my high school daughter was reading it and it was just lying around...but it was a good fast read) I have three on my list: "The Bride Collector" by Ted Dekker(New York BS Author)and "Blood Game" and "Eight Days To Live" both by Iris Johansen(New York BS Author)Both are thrillers. As for the coating on the garlic- most fruit and veggies here(U.S.)are sprayed w/ a wax-like substance-yucky,right?! They say buying your produce FROZEN is the way to go-no coatings and most are picked at peak of freshness and then frozen right away. Have a Le Radd Day!

Is the Last Song book actually about Miley? I'm just about to start message in a bottle by him. Hmm, those titles both sound interesting!!! Maybe I'll have a look at him, after I've read the multiple titles I have :) Have a great day too :)

i love your idea of rewarding yourself at different stages in your weight loss. it looks like you are doing great!! thanks for the inspiration :)

Thanks! I've found the reward system really works for me, that and I feel like I have two rewards, being skinnier and getting something pretty :)

No,not about Miley, but I heard the part in the movie was written for her-she's a rebellious teen and I think she'll play the part very well. I haven't seen the movie yet--we keep SAYING we will :)I should start "Message in a Bottle" since I did like the movie- then we could compare notes, haha.

Oh ok. I'm not the biggest fan of that girl. Yeah, you could. I haven't seen the movie for message in a bottle though, my imagination is usually the best movie ever so I end up being let down. :(

She GGRRRATES ON this girl's nerves!!! And I know what you mean about imagination and the let-downs...uuuah-HUH! But Dreaming IS fun! Good day!

I agree. I personally can't stand her

I love reading The Vampire Diaries series. It's nothing like the TV Show, so if ever seen the series you won't have to worry about reading something you've already seen. My other personal fave (obsession!?) is the Sookie Stackhouse series (a.k.a True Blood) which is a HBO TV series (which def. needs to be on a channel like that due to the graphic and adult nature of the show... ha ha) Those are vampire based but VERY different than the Twilight saga; especially True Blood. I love reading, it really just relaxes me and makes my imagination go off into another world. :)

Hmm, both sound very interesting!! I've heard a lot about true blood, haven't watched the tv series either. I've been a tad skeptical about the big flux of vampire books since twilight reached it's climax. Probably cos at high-school I read the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice during my 'gothic' phase. I might just have to look into the Vampire diaries :)

I agree with lady ang i read vampire diaries in secondary school years ago and loved them (havent watched the show so it cant ruin them for me :P ) infact any of the books by LJ Smith are good :) also i use photobucket for my photography you can get a link which you can then include in your journal :)
