Don't think of your weight loss journey as ruined if you have a bad day or weekend. My personal trainer told me to look at the big picture. If you mess up a few days here and there it is ok. As long as your exercising and eating healthy all the other days.
Don't be so hard on yourself. Have the tacos.. have the pizza... your body will forgive you. You need to forgive yourself.
Don't be so hard on yourself..

I agree with you. I hate it when people say that they "are starting their diet over." Don't start it over, just continue, and get back on track. It is absurd to think that throughout the rest of your life you are never going to have a day where you eat a little to much. sometimes having that slice of pizza (in moderation) keeps us sane. You can also always use that day as an idea to figure out what triggered the overeating.

exactly! I don't think people understand that our bodies are forgiving. My body isn't going to hate me because I have a cookie... my body will hate me if I eat french fries with cheddar cheese everyday.

It just takes awhile to understand that. It took me awhile, anyway. It's hard to get over the "oops look what I did, I'm just going to give up and eat whatever I want" mentality. You always hear people talk about lifestyle changes instead of dieting. That really is what you have to do.
