Well, my goal was to be 118 lbs by July 20th. I am ONE POUND away. I'm not going to run myself through the ringer trying to lose this last pound in a day and a half... but seriously?! ONE POUND.
From a more positive angle: I have lost 15 lbs in just less than 5 months!!! I never actually thought I could do it in a gradual and healthy way. It feels so good to know that I did this by developing a new way of eating, tush-kicking workouts, and a (mostly) constant drive to account for every calorie in and out of my body.
I think that 118 will be the bottom line for me. I remember from my college weigh-in days (I don't miss those at all) that below 118 I really had no muscle tone at all. The next goal is going to be to develop some sort of definition in the midsection. If after a while I am happy with that I may consider a new goal of 112-115, but I will not sacrifice my lady curves for those lower numbers :)
Thanks to everyone on FS for supporting and inspring me - even if you have no idea that you are doing it! Not leaving this site any time soon, I am so happy with the doors that it has opened for me!
