I ate like a monster today. I had a huge western omelette with French toast and a double order of hash browns for breakfast, meeting up an old co-worker. Lunch was a turkey cold cut sandwich, but then dinner time came... Now, I’ve been eating 5-6 meals a day, so this was the first time I was starving by 7pm. I originally started with steamed chicken and mixed vegetables/no sauce, and a pint of brown rice. Somehow, the words, “small order of BBQ spare ribs” came out. Then I was offered soup or an egg roll for free. How do you say no to free? Wonton it was. I ate the whole thing. Without stopping. Dipped the fortune cookies in the wonton water. It was magical! Here’s the kicker... I could still eat. I thought for sure I would be bloated, rolling around like a beached walrus. I’m fighting the urge to get an ice cream cone! It wasn’t a horrible calorie day, but I am looking forward to tomorrow’s workout and getting back in the saddle. Thanks for hearing me out.
