Back to my lowest weight. 116.1 and also back to my original weigh day, Sun. Still too much medical crap happening here. The other day I took Ern to his dialysis appointment at 12:15. I was home a few minutes when I got a call from him saying that they couldn't do it because his fistula was clogged and they were sending him to a vascular surgeon in El cajon. I have no idea how to get to el cajon. The nurse got on the phone and told me he needed to NOW! I rushed to pick him up and was told that he couldn't go because of insurance. Take him to Tri City Medical Center ER. So off we went again. When we finally saw someone, we told them about the toes and the fistual. Finally they examined him and decided to admit. I got home about 2:00am. The next morning they operated and determined they couldn't fix the fistual so they replaced it. The vascular surgeon came in later and examined Ernie's toes told us that he was going to remove the four toes off his left foot, leaving the big toe. So, yesterday they did that. Today he is in much pain. I didn't get in today. Exhaustion won the battle. Trying to keep up with diet and family.
256.0 lb Lost so far: 32.0 lb.    Still to go: 58.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Caregiving can be so draining. :-( Congrats on keeping up on nutrition and weigh-ins despite everything else going on. Are you getting any time to yourself to just relax?
