Only had some Coconut Oil & MCT Oil for the 11 hrs after breakfast (&late night/early morning snacks). Do this fairly often, but today it was a few hours longer. Feels MUCH easier to exercise (after the first hour...).
Finally lost enough weight to use recumbent stepper/bike contraption. Ergonomics of stepper/bike are bit painful, but should be much better cardio than just pushing the wheelchair round & round the building.

My knees won't straighten more than 45°s so leg exercises have been limited to "stand", "hobble w/ walker", or leg weights. I've now maxed out on all the dumbbells & leg weights they have here at the Nursing Home/Physical Therapy Facility. I spent a year here just treading water doing the same sad little weights over and over--not making much progress. About the time I really got strict and got serious about keeping track of everything with FatSecret, a friend gave me a couple 5lb containers of whey protein. I've used it for years, but in addition to an already protein-rich diet. Here, it made a HUGE difference because of the limited protein in the food they serve, though that is getting better.
The stepper/bike thing will be a great new challenge. I got winded really quickly, so should really be helpful in losing weight more quickly & getting the heck out of here.
Thanks, and you keep up your good work too!

When will you be able to leave? Are you confined due to your weight and physical limitations?
