D1srupta's Journal, 16 August 2016

I have been feeling a bit "slow" these last couple of days. I'm thinking there might be a deficiency of some kind as I haven't been taking my vitamins these last few days. It is also true that I have been getting up earlier and working longer, but this is a heavy brain fog that just won't go away. I ended up breaking my fast as soon as I got up because I simple felt that I needed some type of boost and then even had a snack part way through the work day.

It won't hurt my progress in all reality, but I hate making such detours when I have set a plan in action. It is very reassuring to see the weight drop back down so quickly after this weekend. More people at work have been chatting with me about how they're trying to lose weight and what they're doing and asking what I did. I feel the best advice I can give them is that you have to get back on the right path after breaking off. That is what will help you succeed in my experience. The point is to get healthy, not to hate your life. Change things incrementally and adapt as time goes on.

I've had those days. Great loss though. I hope you feel better after eating, or maybe you just caught a bug. Good advice. One day at a time. If you find out what caused the fog, let me know. It

You're right..staying the course, and if you stray, get right back to it ASAP before the straying becomes a habit.

Ps, thought, did you get the fog, before your last few days of indulgence or after. 😁

Well, I'm not sure if it is a cause. I know that I ate like that and had no issue what so ever keeping up with everything. I think the sudden changes aren't helping, though.
