Trimmer55's Journal, 11 April 2016

Two weeks since last weigh in. Been working on eating more- slowing down the weight loss and trying to eat more iron rich foods. Was feeling frail and anemic too. Vitamins, red meat beets, red wine and kale have rectified that thankfully.
Hosted 3 aunties and 1 uncle and my father- in-law for 8 days. It was a great time relaxing with these 80 somethings and eating cookies, ice cream and pie everyday! One Aunt baked dozens of cookies and transported in her luggage. My father-in-law loves his sweets and loaded up with several 1/2 gallons of ice cream, blueberry pie and peach cobbler.
I kept good track of eating, but was really craving salad after that week.
So I am down just a bit from my last weigh in. My plan is to continue losing the remaining 5 +\- pounds very slowly and weighing myself more often to learn about my weight fluctuations day to day or so.
When I reach my goal I am going to be vigilant about keeping my weight in check.
I have already calculated my RDI calories for that point and I continue to take steps to eat more.
I will say that eating ice cream and more sweets was delicious in the moment, I felt the switch go on to make me want more and more. Also overall I felt a bit frumpy with less energy. Some of that due to the sedentary visit, some swimming and walking, but a big decline of regular exercise.
Hope to be more regular in my postings going forward.
Congratulations to my sister who is successfully riding the weight loss wave- 20 pounds down. YaY Msmazza!
