A little frustrated. Not budging--playing with ounces and right now, the ounces went up. I'm not eating a lot--under 1200 calories. Just at one of those points, right now where it's a waiting game, I guess.

199.1 lb Lost so far: 21.9 lb.    Still to go: 79.1 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.7 lb a week

You're doing great! Just keep at it. Maybe shake up your routine a bit. :)

Look at your chart! It' looks amazing. Just keep going. Up your protein and fiber (fruits and veggies). Up your activity level. Switch things up. It will happen.

You have to work within the ebb & flow Jillzee. When I look at your trend line, the obvious thing that stands out to me is that is is going down. So what you are doing is working. Be tenacious. Stick with your plan. You'll get there.

Been there! I myself had to cut even more calories, then my weight started to drop again! G.B.~Ann :)

I Highly suggest you eat more than that. Under 1200 calories for a women, your body probably is slowing down your metabolism. It wasn't until I started to actually eat more that I started to lose weight. If you want to stick to a low cal diet try adding in one day where you eat over your limit...up your carb intake and eat much more (of course healthy carbs not cookies). Only one day a week, this will rev up your slowed down metabolism so you can start burning more fat again. Eating like this one day a week refuels your body and resets your body to think you are not in starvation and that it is ok to burn fat storages.

Like Suzi and Jonathan said, your trend is down. Weighing everyday helps you keep things in perspective....let's take a look. In the last NINE weeks, you've dropped nearly 22 POUNDS! In the last MONTH (4/8-5/8), you've kept up the pace and dropped OVER TWELVE POUNDS!! In a month!! Keep things in perspective and keep up the good work.

Try not to get sucked into the short term dips and waves. Take a look at your weight loss over time, and you're doing great! It's hard when the scale isn't moving as fast as you want it to, but those pounds are piling up. Sometimes I think our body needs to get the message that we want to lose, not that we're starving and it needs to conserve. :-/

Don't have anything to add to the excellent advice above. This is just a little blip on your graph - nothing to worry about.

I agree - it is weight loss over time - not day to day that matters. You are doing great!

I'm new here - my first full week, so I understand. Taking the long view works - when we are consistent - as well as possible - we will see our goals met.
