Happy with another loss even if its not a lot. Flying to the UK on Monday to see family and friends and no return date as yet because I have to wait for a passport to be renewed. I'm sure the scales will reflect me enjoying myself but at least I am starting at a lower weight so hopefully less to lose when I get back. As I have got older I realise that those special moments with loved ones, which are often centred around food are more important than a reading on the scales. I will remember those wonderful memories made, tea with my triplet granddaughters, celebration cake for the birth of my new grandson, eating out and catching up with friends, coffee and cake or tea and scones at a quaint cafe, fish and chips by the sea, what wonderful things to be able to recall. It doesn't mean I will go completely mad and eat everything in sight but I won't carry the guilt I usually lay on myself for eating something 'naughty'. I can concentrate on weight loss when I return with my body full of calories and my head heavy with magical memories.
