Did you ever have one of those days where you followed your eating plan 100% and when you next weighed in you had actually gained weight? This is the complete opposite of that! I did so poorly yesterday that I am astounded to see a drop at all. Now I had good intentions yesterday but nary a potato managed to make its way into my mouth. I realized upon waking yesterday that I had not made up any Japanese Sweet potatoes for breakfast. Now I had made a special trip to the Trader Joe's to purchase two bags on Friday but didn't cook them. So I ended up having cereal for breakfast plus some berries, a banana, and some hemp seeds (for those Omega's y'all). I DID cook up some russets in the air fryer to take for lunch and snacks. Since Saturday is my busy-I start early and have back to back clients-I figured it would be potato snacking all day. My hubby showed up with some veggie sushi rolls and he had made up some Siracha tofu (crab) as a topper. So sweet! I scarfed it down along with a handful of those Hip-peas BBQ puffs that he brought along. I also had 3 dark chocolate squares throughout the day to "Keep my energy up." After work I had to come home and work on my Cornell Nutrition class project. I was dreading it. I packed my potatoes for home and then swung into the Super Dragon Chinese restaurant for veggie Spring Rolls and one order of Kung Pao Tofu with veggies. The last time I went into this restaurant was more than a year ago. Over the past 2 years I have really lost interest in restaurant food-being vegan makes it tricky enough but I find the food to be too oily, salty, doughy, sweet, etc. I know the reasons I grabbed to go food-I knew I was coming home to an empty house (so no accountability "secret food") and I was really dreading doing this project. I came home, ate less than half the food and was done eating by 5:45 pm. I got my project done (hooray) and hope I did it all correctly. My husband came home around 7:30 pm and brought with him the remainders of his movie popcorn bag (no butter) and only about 4 handfuls of popcorn left. Why? He asked if I wanted to finish it off. Does a cat want to chase a bird? It MUST, IT MUST. So, yeah I finished it off. Around 8 pm my stomach hurt-DUH-so I made a piece of whole wheat sourdough toast with some of my husbands peanut butter powder spread just to, you know, settle the stomach before finishing up our show-"Truth be Told" with Octavia Spencer. Check it out-so good. Anyway, all those things are the reason I was dreading my weigh in but it turns out Not So Bad after all. Happy Sunday everyone.

Hope this week is working out better for you, with all you've been doing for me. It's been nice that you've been able to swim a couple of times at least.
