Well I seem to be a bit stressed at work today. I'm irritable with the sales people on the phone and I had an argument with my brother earlier as well. Now every time I walk past my co-workers desk with the jar of chocolate, I pause. I've been able to always walk past & resist with no issue. Today is odd. I feel like I "deserve" it.

But why? Deserve an upset stomach and an even worse mood when the sugar hits my brain? I haven't been in self-destruct mode for quite sometime.

I just wanted to come here and vent long enough for the craving to leave my brain and I know this is a safe and supportive community. I already feel better and am going to go grab a delicious chocolate peanut butter fudge fat bomb! Happy Friday FS Friends!

I have a pattern to want snacks and candy when I'm stressed. I use food to comfort myself. I hope you can find ways to relieve your stress in a healthy way! Good luck and I wish you success!

That's exactly what I need to do when I start feeling like I need chocolate or something I shouldn't have instead of giving in. Great discipline. Good teacher!!!

Taking time to pause when the craving hits is a good strategy - get a little time to regroup.

Eat the dam candy, once in blue moon never hurt anyone! I like paydays their always at the check out counter...big ones to.haha The last one I had was about 3 months ago..it just jumped in my hand.

Oh my G-d Murpthesurf I love those too but I can’t ever, ever eat them again. I allow myself 1 piece of this dark chocolate with Carmel inside called Rissen in the evening if I have the calories left and 1 piece is 40 calories. But I’ve had to get strict after gaining a few lbs. since Thanksgiving. Back on track and 5 to goal.
