Sorry haven't done any posting in a while been busy with (my new rescue) Cooper (2 year old Lab/Hound). We go for walks, play ball in the yard and visited a wonderful dog park at Vindt Hill, VA. Glad to say he's helped me drop another 2 lbs. I posted a few days ago about my lows and I've talked to my doctor and he has said to take 20 units a day - a drop from 80!! I am truly excited. If I start experiencing any more lows to discontinue the insulin all together!! I am so excited. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, but the idea of no more shots makes me so happy. This coming 2 weeks will be my test, I've got to go to NY and Phx for graduations. Hopefully since I don't have to work I can devote my free time to exercise. I've packed healthy Keto snacks, I have a good idea of what I'm supposed to do and we'll see if I can stick to it. Wish me luck!

They've done studies comparing people who join gyms and people who start to walk and the people who get dogs -- the people who got dogs were 'strides' (my pun) ahead in fitness of the other two groups. Sounds like a cutie!!!

Wonderful Mae! That is exactly what you want! Diabetes meds and insulin make it REALLY difficult to lose weight effectively while you are taking them and they can increase your appetite horrendously. So this is stupendous news! Take your life and health in your hands and run with it girl! 🙆🏻You GOT this!! 💁🏻
