Not bad, Not bad for someone trying to navigate their way through this thing called life. My diet is listed as LCHF: Low carb, High fat / Ketogenic Diet. My food logs for the most part for a little while now beg to differ.

I didn't want to change my diet to "My own diet" because in the past when I did, I couldn't re-adjust my true starting weight so I left it as is.

Thinking about "changing my diet" does not mean that I am actually going to jump ship. As a matter of fact, I plan to keep pushing on because yesterday for the first time, I believe I experienced that food craving nirvana that many LCHFers talk about where they feel full with less calories with no energy drop off. I've consumed the same calories as yesterday on prior occasions with no regards to macros just simply focusing on a total calorie number and I remember constantly thinking about food on those days and going to bed with my stomach grumbling. Another intriguing thing about yesterday, was that on the day prior, I was a very active. I got in plenty steps and did heavy weight lifting in the evening. Usually, the day after an active one, I want to eat everything in sight but that wasn't the case. I will keep experimenting. I will keep trying, failing and adjusting.

Another thing I will change is my weekly weigh ins from Thursdays to Mondays. Although, the weekends maybe a time to relax from the stresses of commuting and work, this does not give me an excuse to gobble, gobble, gobble. To thine own self be true.

5:2 might be a better fit for you, Ches, but I believe that you could easily get into the stride that it takes to do lchf and once you got there lchf would be easy. You've made consistent progress, and that's really all that matters.

Thanks Phil. Part of master plan brother! I SURVIVED a birthday party at my house last night under 32 G of carbs total for the day and calories were 1489. I took 1 hour the other day to check out the champion of 5:2, 52C and crunched his numbers, ALL the numbers for 4 weeks, PDFed and printed them. I really, really like it. I feel I am getting into stride with LCHF so onward I will push.

I lost more in the past week eating every day LCHF than I did in prior weeks fasting every other day and eating carbs on feast cays. I am no 52C for sure.

I scaled a 219.6 today at noon. It's always the low point but my Monday w-i is the one that counts. What were your conclusions from my diet calender? I'm sitting here right now trying to figure out how I'm going to score my one meal for today. It was an amazing gourmet burger from The Assembly in Hoffman Estates, IL called the Bionic Burger. 4 stars! Secret burger blend, butter bun, cheddar&swiss, grilled onions, artisan pickles and a mushroom sherry wine sauce that absolutely made the meal. Plus homemade chips and coleslaw. Unfortunately, no nutritional info on their website. Somehow, I'll get 'er dun!

That's it. When I see your posts, I am covering them with my hand, 52C. Not saying anything else, because calling you a freak of nature might be considered rude 😕 (This is the Minnesota passive-aggressive way of saying, "I wanna eat ice cream and tacos and lose waaaayyyt!" 😭)

It's ok Lady. My "Sweet Melissa" is doing this with me and has called me exactly that (and much worse). She's losing at one-third the rate but she looks amazing. Besides, I kinda like F.O.N. especially if it's said in a low, breathy voice. Not Barry White low, but you know what I mean.

You can relax Ches. Friday at noon coming off my Thursday fast day has been my "phantom" number every week. I give a couple back by Monday. It's predictable but still fun to see a lower phantom number every week. Going for a walk. Today's 2100 calorie meal is sitting there like a rock.
