Good Morning Ya'll! I hope all the Americans here had a lovely holiday weekend and a lovely weekend to all of you who don't celebrate the 4th of July. Hubby and I went to Jacksonville to see my daughter and her family and we had a great time! I was not mindful of my eating, my daughter's MIL is Cuban and she cooked ALL of my favorites and some stuff I had never tried but quickly added to my favorites list :) We drove up Highway 57 to get to I-95 and that took us through a whole slew of tiny little towns and an abundance of roadside produce stands and I think we stopped at them all. By the time we arrived in Jacksonville we had 4 variety's of watermelon, giant peaches, cantaloupe, cherries, blueberries, blackberries. Soooooo, when we added all of the fresh fruit to our hosts menu we had a huge smorgasbord. Knuckles, I swear I only ate one meal per day......but the meal lasted ALL DAY! It was all so good! Now I have to fast for a week to get myself back into ketoisis and to curb the binge that began sometimes Saturday evening between the Roast Pork, black beans and rice, sweet fried plantains and loaves of crunchy Cuban bread. I did do a little bit of a workout, we went to a park yesterday and rented a couple of paddle boats, we paddled around the lake for almost 4 hours it was beautiful and I had a ball! I'm sure my thighs won't like me very much in the next few days, but I'll get over it. I also got a very angry looking sunburn on my legs but it cooled off after a nice ACV soak. I am going to TRY to log my weekend meals but I have no idea how much of everything I ate. Too bad you can't just log a 5,000 calorie entry. I'm sure I will see an increase in tomorrows weigh in, but it is what it is! You guys have a great day! UPDATE: I got my foods and drinks entered as close as I could, it was not 5,000 a day as I had feared, but it was over 3,000....WOW!

LOL Thanks Jimmie you are a great guilt eliminator! Actually I have no guilt, I don't eat like that all the time and I always say that you have to enjoy life. Enjoy it I did! Nothing like good food, good friends and family to make a weekend visit into a special event :)

Good to see you back Debra and glad you enjoyed your holiday weekend with your family. On FS you can make up an entry in "Add Custom Food". I made one up called "Holiday Food" and I put it in the Snacks/Other section when I come back. I figured out the nutrients by logging a guess for one of the days in another website that adds up calories, etc, and then put that in for every day I was away. For example, my "Holiday Food" says 2,600 cals, 92g fat, 220 carbs, 45g protein and 16g fibre. At least I have some sort of a record in my diet calendar then. Have a lovely day :)

Sounds like you had an AWESOME weekend! We all need those once in a while!

You are so much fun. Sounds like you had a blast. Thanks for sharing your good spirits! I think I made a private FS database generic 500-calorie entry to use as a placeholder when estimating calories eaten. I just change the multiplier to bump it up to whatever total I'm guessing. Of course, that doesn't work so well if someone is counting macros.

ACV soothes sunburn? That is good to know! How much do you use? Your weekend sounds wonderful :)

I used about a cup and a half in a bath of tepid water, soaked for about 30 minutes, kept all red parts completely submerged. The parts that were cherry red are now a painless light pink and starting to brown. I did not blister and I don't think I will peel.
