I have had a lot of stress in the last 6 months. my husband getting cancer and now his job is closing down. so yea I can say I have gained alot of weight. but I'm wanting to stick to my diet and lose weight.
200.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 50.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Understandable, and I'm sorry for all the stresses you are facing. While you may not want to add any pressure by trying to stick to a strict diet, perhaps you could just try to eat healthy foods in normal amounts. I have come to realize that "comfort eating" has not really made me feel any better, in fact usually I suffer digestive issues from it and feel foggy-brained and less able to cope. Wishing you all the best ---

whatever you do for yourself, cut out gluten and most carbs. These make stress much more reactive. You'll feel better. Or at least many people do.
