Kp you may be the sweetest person I know. Don't fret about me, it's not worth it.

I'm watching funny girl right now. My mom made me watch it when I was younger and now I have to watch it whenever it's on.

I must admit, I used only half the bag. I think I have an expired bag of chia seeds from 2013 in my pantry! Lol.. I hope you top everything with chia! I think I e heard of chia crusted salmon, never made it or had it... Concept sounds good!

I used them in shakes. Sometimes I throw two teaspoons in my protein shake

For a while, I ate a Chia-Flax breakfast blend. The recommended amount -- a mere 2 Tablespoons! -- kept me dashing about for HOURS! Those seeds are VERY nutrient-dense.

I put a couple teaspoons in EVERY smoothie I make, since it's such an easy way to pack in some extra nutrients, and occasionally make healthy pudding with them! (although I don't love the texture of it)

Well, 56 comments tells me Chia Seeds are pretty popular. Thanks for all your input! I learned so much!

THANK YOU for this journal entry! I've seen a recipe for Chia Seed Jam and got a bag of seeds that I never opened. You got me moving on trying them. Had a "treat" breakfast this morning and made a shortcut version of the jam. I used 1/2 serving of blueberries and nuked for about 30 seconds. Smushed em with a fork to get the juice out. Added a little stevia and 1/2 serving of chia seeds. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until thickened. It was like the best homemade from Aunt Somebody's Kitchen berry jam I've had!! Hubby liked it too and he's a jam/jelly snob. Gooooood Stuff!!
