Good Morning, FS Warriors! Well, so far so good. This is my 3nd day of being back on an eating plan. I did pretty well yesterday. We performed at one of the nursing homes last night, and then everyone went out to eat at one of the local restaurants I thought it was going to be a disaster, with everyone on every side of the big table ordering huge entrees and deserts, but it wasn't so bad. I had done pretty well all day, and when it was my time to order, I chose a grilled chicken salad, and applesauce instead of the creamy broccoli soup. The salad was pretty big, as well as filling, so I entered it as "two" salads on FS.
We are performing again tonight at a seniors banquet, which is another buffet. If I can just stay away from the deserts, I'll be OK. I know we are having turkey, because DW cooked up two of them. I like turkey just fine. Unfortunately, I love it with dressing and gravy. The good news is, she didn't make any. The bad news is, she didn't make any. LOL!
I'll weigh in, in the morning. I just have to keep reminding myself that one pound a week would be great over the long haul. And even though I typically show a substantial loss on the first weigh-in, it's the average over time that counts. I mean, really, wouldn't a 52 pound loss in a year be pretty significant? We tend to be so impatient.
Anyway, just wanted to check in and let everyone know that I'm still with it. Toodles!
