I'm sleepy today, which is not good for a slow work day. It could be a long day.

I didn't get a workout done last night so I'm hoping to get a quick one in after work today. I got busy paying bills and the couch had sucked me in then. I should have time to get a workout in and a shower taken before my son's baseball game tonight, so I need to do it.

The other day my son told my daughter that one of his friends thinks that she's hot. My daughter is 13 the boys are 10. My daughter told him that she's out of his age range, so my hubby and I told her that a lot of people date younger guys and girls and even marry them. She thought about that and ended up telling my son that his friend he is out of her age range for now, check back when they're in their 20's. Silly kids. Man when did they hit that age of having crushes.

That's it for me today, not much new to report. Have a great one!

Sleepy is not good ever when you have a slow day at work. When that happens to me I have to make sure I don't get a keyboard imprint on my forehead. What position does your son play?

Luckily there are enough people that stop by my desk to keep me from sleeping on my keyboard. :) Right now the boys don't really have set positions, but typically he's in the outfield or sometimes catcher. Usually at this age they move them around quite a bit, just to get a feel for what they're good at, but since he's a lefty his coach pretty much only wants him in the outfield.

A lefty teach him to pitch, kids at that age don't know what to do because it looks as if the ball is coming at them

I too am sheer exhausted. Plus my right eye is now watering again. Drinking more water today. Stuffed myself at lunch (but it was oh so yummy!). Seriously considered a nap, but really an hour wouldn't be enough. Two or three might!

Rockiesfan, my hubby has been trying to teach him to pitch, and he can do great when he practices, then it comes to the game and he can barely get it to the plate. I think there's some anxiety about hitting the kids with the ball and being up in front of everyone. He wants to try pitching again though, he hasn't gotten the chance yet this season, so we'll see. Mighty, I hope we both get a good nights sleep tonight and Friday will be an energy filled day!

When my son was playing little league, he became a pretty good pitcher, partly because he was not afraid to hit a kid. I think he had the chance to get good because the batters were a little nervous about those inside pitches. :)

Kids start having crushes already in kindergarden. I know I did and also that boy had a crush on me but I pretended to not like him at all. Just you wait until she starts dating LOL

Tired and sleepy was the word at work today. Morning storms, cloudy all day. Everyone just wanted to go back to bed. The coffee machine was very busy!! I'm sitting here wishing myself to move after a busy crazy week. I need to at least catch up my disaster area kitchen. Izzy -- laughing one of my grandsons is a darn good pitcher-he has also never been afraid of hitting someone with the ball. He would actually feel badly if he hurt someone. No ball games for me until tomorrow.
