Did not feel like cooking, long day at work, and things to get accomplished tonight. I know I'm leaving for the weekend so did not want to create leftovers that would spoil.
Decided to stop and pick up tamales at a little Mexican shop that makes their own to die for ones. So 2 pork tamales with asparagus with toasted sesame seeds and a sprinkle of sesame oil was dinner. Also took a couple to my 87 yo next door neighbor. I ate too much.
Exercise will be steps and getting some basic chores done to get ready to leave after work Friday for the lake and DD's. My granddaughter is 16 today. Plans are to stop and pick up tamales to take to the lake as well on Friday.
Best get off the computer and get busy again. Dinner break is over.

You're making my mouth water...no good tamales near me in Mid-Michigan.

Sounds like a great weekend! Last time you mentioned tamales you said you ate three...this time only two, see? you are doing better! LOL

HCB, your are amazing you knew 3 before, they were so good. My neighbor loved them, she has been getting these awful ones (in my opinion) from a local restaurant. I probably can't make them for $1.oo each or nearly as good. Plus, they take so much time to make.
