It was also prom last night. Also yesterday was a trip to get hair and nails done for 16yo granddaughter and her best friend. So much sitting around and waiting, I did go for a short walk in between the spurts of rain while waiting on the nails. Granddaughter looked amazing dressed up. Definitely should not drink moonshine. LOL! 

Jeri, I hope you took a pic of that morel mushroom before you cook it. :) Ok, you don't have to post a pic, I'm just curious how large it was. I hope you find more. :) 

Moonshine...LOL...that made me laugh! 

Was real moonshine. Daughter lives down in the Ozarks, a friend of theirs gives them some he makes every now and then. It's tastes amazing! I have had a bit before with no problems but this one really hit me. Heather told me I had more than one, don't remember.. At least I didn't have to get up and go to work this morning. Everyone was teasing me about it today. I'll change my image photo to the morel. I only found one, not good weather to go tromping through the woods. I brought it home so will cook it tonight along with Terry's catfish, he sent me home with about 5 pounds!, and some asparagus from my yard. I'll freeze most of the cat fish. Back home and back on plan. Will weigh in tomorrow.  

Your mushroom is beautiful. It sounds like you've had a great time (despite the moonshine headache). What nice memories y'all are making!  

Would have loved a few more mushrooms. One was just a tease but oh so good sautéed in butter. the crew at the lake (where I was for the weekend) had a big mushroom fry last weekend.. as they had found a bunch.

Have seen bigger Deb, but the biggest one from her property. The weather wasn't conducive for hunting or them popping out due to sun after the rain, it was still cloudy and drizzly. I have mature woods behind my house but I've never found any there.
