i ate dinner kinda early and then worked out so after i was totally craving fried eggs , so my Mr. fried me me up two with some bacon. I know its late to be eating but even with this extra meal im still at 18 net carbs and I have to say, it really hit the spot.I prolly wont be hungry in the morning and thats ok. Ill just have a late breakfast and plan on making a MIM. Hope every one is doing well in your part of the world and enjoying your weight loss journey. The holidays are always an excuse to cheat for me..I plan on pushing past that this year by planning ahead. Ill be making fat bombs for my sweet tooth and some low carb broccoli slaw and plenty of low carb sides. I plan on starting Saturday so I can take Sunday off and be lazy. Cheers to everyone.

Hi Red,
Broccoli slaw sounds great. How do you make it? Also, what other appetizers and side dishes that are low carb do you have in mind? Please inspire me. The holidays are upon us...! :-)

Going out for Easter dinner this year, bringing some deviled eggs and grilled asparagus. Plan on just a very small serving of the ham being served. Will skip desert and have a coffee with family. Enjoy you day.

Crazy but I love my bacon and eggs, too. The fat is satiating and stays for many hours.

Aurora, I use the Dole bag of already made slaw and apply it to this recipe:

Then, I making green beans. I use the fresh one and then I had ham cubes and chicken bullion, with some onions. Im also making a mock mashed potato for me.. the reals stuff for the fams. Im doing deviled eggs and some buffalo chicken meatballs made out of fresh chicken breast I grind down myself. As for desert, I skip it .. I have fat bombs and jello to ease the pain .. LOL

Sounds like a great plan. I am also working not to indulge this holiday. The Easter Bunny will be bring the kids each a book, a dvd, and a chocolate bunny. Once they start gnawing on those bunnies, I find them easy to resist. Enjoy your Easter!
