FINALLY!

I'm done with my route for the month. I had more work than I had month. I already have a list for next week. My brand new van, with only 9 miles on it that I picked up last Friday, now has over 900 miles. Sad. I feel like one of those spoiled girls who can only wear an outfit once. This van has almost 1,000 miles on it, you can't expect me to drive this now! wow. I need to go live in a third world country now to get all this new van smell off of me. What's worse is my personal style is probably homeless chic. I don't spend money on myself, and most of my clothes, I'm not even sure where they came from. They just appear. A new van, I'm dying.

Needless to say, I'm beat. I've been in such a bad mood this week. Probably because I have not been taking care of myself. Food has been marginal at best. Lots of comfort food. The next 2 days I only work at the restaurant and the rest of the time I'm going to spend in my pj's, preferably with a cat on my lap. I did save someone's life yesterday. I was trying to get through a parking lot and there was a van in the way. They were having a conversation. I waited. They started to move, I started to move, they stopped, I stopped, I waited. I got tired of waiting. I honked. They moved. I parked. The next thing I know this little girl child is coming up to my window saying "ma'am, ma'am". It was the girl (teenager) who was outside the van that was on the receiving end of the conversation. In my head, she was wanting to apologize for being in the way. What she probably wanted was to cuss me out. I didn't roll down the widow, because I promise if she had cussed me out, I would have probably released 7 days of stress and pms on her tiny little self. I saved her life. She just doesn't know it. I'm normally a very easy going person. This week, well, this week is just over. I must be low on magnesium. Normally when I'm pms'ing hard like this I eat chocolate, lots and lots of chocolate. Now, I'm just eating the inside of my face and it's not helping. HELP! ME!

Read your posts. That will give you a smile. Seems to work for a lot of us. So you're our heroine. And I don't mean narcotic. You saved the chicks life and she didn't even thank you. How ungrateful people are today. ROFL

:) Go for the chocolate next time! Brookside 90 to 100 calorie packs or munch 100 calorie packs of almonds. Both will do wonders for pms'ing, stress, headaches, etc. Enjoy the new car smell while you can. Its a fleeting thing. Glad you had restraint with the girl even if she doesn't know it.

Glad you can go easier on yourself this weekend. Too bad you have to go to work at all. Chill with your cat, petting furry animals is a proven stress reliever, my pups insistence sometimes drives me crazy though. Glad you are liking your new van. Stress can make you behave a bit crazy, I have caught myself taking mine out on people I do not know. I realize then it's time to do something to decrease that stress. It's a good thing that Sprouts is 15 miles away, they have these dark chocolate coated cranberries that are amazing. I bought some figuring I would just have a few at a time, good thing I only bought 1/2 pound as I ate them all one weekend!!

Just breathe and find a place of peace inside yourself..bwhahahahaha! Just kidding. I know how hard it is when we feel irritable. Eating crap will make you feel more crappy!

I did buy some cocoa nibs I wonder if they have the same benefits as chocolate mixed with sugar, because it's the sugar that has all the benefits right? I have eaten a LOT of white carbs this week. I don't restrict my carbs, but I think I've eaten all the ones that at least 10 atkins dieters left on their plates. Vegetables are calling my name this weekend.

Never thought of heroine that way! Eat lots of veggies add a few fruits, apples and oranges taste so good to me lately.

IC, agreed eating crap will add to your feeling lousy. Also I've learned over the past 2 year journey that exercise changes my mood. Stress rolls off and changes into a peaceful inner happiness that affects my whole life. If I avoid that exercise I find myself slipping back into a not so happy peaceful existence. get stressed and get irritable more easily.

You did the right thing keeping your cool is key in that type of situation. This time of year lots of people are suffering from road rage so keep cool a parking spot is not worth a hospital bill. I just finished reading JLO's book "True Love". Excellent motivational book and one valid point made throughout the book is that you must take care of yourself. I hear you about being tired but over the next two days do something that gets your cardio moving. I know it's easy to say just kick back and become a couch potato, but that will lead to you eating unhealthy foods. Treat yourself to something nice for doing the Cardio a new outfit,some makeup, a manicure or pedicure. Something to make you feel good about yourself. Hey get into this habit and you can loose weight and build that new wardrobe one piece at a time, best yet you will be putting yourself in a new light. 2015 is all about you and making the most of this year. Congratulations on your new ride. Enjoy it and celebrate your new DIVA mobile. (smile) I like everyone else here enjoy your antics but I want to see your weight move down not up time to move past this plateau.
