BuffyBear's Journal, 21 August 2014

After about 2 weeks of reeducating my taste buds on WHAT to eat, I now need to move to step 2: Reeducating my stomach on HOW much to eat.

Am not on Step 3 yet, but that will be WHEN to eat.

So once I get the WHAT, HOW & WHEN's under control I'll be on my way.

Ruth - I learned that from you. In the past I've tried to jump in and do everything at once. Now I know to take it slow. I also know there will be a Step 4 and a Step 5, etc. and I'll address this when the time comes.

When is easy ... when you're hungry. Figuring THAT out .. true physical hunger, not boredom or emotions.. that's lessons 2a.1 thru 2z.9

FullaBella - Well put. I eat when what I really need is a hug.

Doin' good Buffy, one thing at a time. Now if I ate only when I was really hungry now, I might miss eating altogether on weekends, during the work week, I get hungry based on my work schedule. If I have a snack after work I often skip dinner.

That is great! That is definitely a smart way to look at things.

A good friend once told me: "When you fail to plan, you plan to fail". Looks like, to me, you've got a good plan; so sucess is in your future. Keep up the good work.
