Good to be home. 3 cherry tomatoes were ripe!!! Late dinner, longer than usual drive home with all the lake traffic, 5 larger lakes in south of western Missouri all feed into the same high ways to get back to the Kansas City metro.

Home too late to pick raspberries, tomorrow. Good quick dinner on the grill, Farro cooked for lunches. Extra steak and veggies done for a grain salad for lunch tomorrow. Back to tracking and fitting in exercise tomorrow.

Nice to get home , I bet,.... I am lucky because when I go up to Washington state to see my sister, she is always on a diet, I get to eat low carb, high protein, so last time I went for two weeks I lost 14 pounds, because she walks 3 miles a day too.

WOW that's good for you. Kids and their families and friends eat crazily on holiday weekends. I ate fairly well but little veggies. Was planning on picking up some Amish raised corn but no stands yet this year. Drank too much beer, not enough exercise, just crawled into bed late. My own bed feels so good. They have a good bed in their spare room but still, it's not mine.

Wow... Karen.. do you think your sister would let me come visit for 2 weeks? I am not sure if I was happy to be home last night or not ... Mushy definitely likes the hotel halls for running but she sleeps better here without the hall noise. Welcome home. What is Farro?

Ferro is an ancient grain that has quite a bit of protein. You cook it rather like rice. It's used often in Italian cooking and Mediterranean cooking. It has mild nutty taste. I made a salad with the ingredients I listed on my lunch, was really good.
