A wish is only a dream that hasnt had a chance to become a reality...

Good Monday morning everyone! I hope we are all having a great day so far!! Mine has been ok. Work work work, you know how that goes.

I ordered two new swimsuits this week, I am hoping they fit! They are coming from China, and sometimes that doesnt work out do well. My last shirt I ordered fit perfect, but the FIRST one, was terrible. It was at least 5 sizes too small. I am excited though because one of them is cute boy-shorts with a halter top and its black with cherries on it!! For some reason, I love cherry pattern, I am a little nuts over it! Good thing is, I am obviously not the only one, because it is plentiful and easy to get! lol

I also ordered some Coconut oil from Brandless, everything is $3.00, and it was my first order so it was free shipping. I am not sure how I feel about it, it came pretty slowly, and it just doesnt seem to taste like the other one. I dont know, I have two jars now, but they are only 10oz, so they wont last long.

OMG!! I had the worst eating too much weekend, this past weekend. First, Friday night we drove up to Joplin, Mo to meet my husband's bio-uncle and bio-sister, which for those of you who have followed me for a while, we were searching for. We found a whole bunch of info, and got in touch with them, and we finally met them. We met at Longhorn Steakhouse, which, in theory, was perfect for me because I could get a steak and some steamed veggies (which is what I did) and stay Keto-strong...well...I am weak. I ate two slices of bread, some fried pickles, and then a small sliver of the free dessert the waiter gave us because he was adopted too and thought it was great that we were all connecting. Ugg, I felt so gross afterwards!!

THEN, Saturday, we drove to Tulsa, Ok with some friends to have a birthday dinner at a Brazilian Steakhouse, which again, Keto friendly - all you can eat gorgeous cuts of meat, but again, I am weak. I had cheese bread, a bite of au-gratin potatoes, a couple bites of creme brulee, and then...some candy from a really cute candy store in the Woodland Mall. I was weak!! I paid for it though, I gained about 5lbs. I know that it will come off pretty quick this week, though, I am going to work hard to get it off.

I dont regret it though, honestly, because I had a great time, I walked 6000 steps at the mall. I enjoyed myself at a mall for the first time in years. These are small, but important NSV for me. I wouldnt go into a mall, let alone, walk around for hours just 6 months ago, so that to me is a victory. I ate some stuff I shouldnt have, but I made memories with my friends and my husband that cannot be replaced. That is the important part. Thats one of the things I love about Keto, I know right now, I am not in Ketosis, but I also know that if I work hard and take care of me, I will be again soon. Its a lifestyle, not a diet, so I dont have to punish myself for eating something not part of my normal eating habits.

Just about 2 weeks and we will be leaving for West Virginia, if we get to go. I am hoping that my new suits will be in by then, but with China post, you never know. Fingers crossed. With my mother in law getting sick, there has been some financial issues that we didnt expect to come up, so we may not have the money go, but we are working on it. Trying to lower the prices on things on Ebay and save a little more here and there. I am hoping that we can still make it. It would mean a lot for him to be at that wedding, especially now, since the father of the groom refuses to go. Told him "You had better find yourself another best man, Im not coming" and no one really knows why. Its a sad situation.

Today I will pray for all the struggles that people are facing, I will pray that the Lord puts his hand in each life and restores and renews. I will thank Him for the endless blessings we have and the love that He so generously pours out on to us. I will pray that we are all able to take one step forward. I will pray for answers to prayers, miracles, and silent tears are wiped away. I will pray for hope. I will pray for all of us to receive more than we dreamed we ever would. I pray all this in Jesus holy name! Amen!!

Here is a picture of me, my friend Aurielia, and her daughter Navi at the steakhouse. This is after we all ate our weight in filet mignon, roast lamb, lamb chops, chicken, pork, bacon wrapped meats of all kinds. It was definitely a great time! (Oh, that coke was my husbands, not mine! lol)

good photo/good times :-) that is what is most important :-) On the coconut oil, I found a good tasting one in Publix. It is more expensive than others but is organic and flavorful. I have gotten other organic ones from other stores but they don't really taste or smell like coconut! I also found some MCT oil on Amazon (I think it is called Sports brand or something like that (I'll find the actual name if you want) that is very tasty for my chef salad that I have on day 3 of my 3 day stall diet. It has a nice clean taste to it. ALSO, It is so wonderful to have you back. I'm being selfish since your posts help me so much. You are an inspiration and I believe you can write a very inspiration book/blog/column. You are a genuinely caring person. LOVE & HUGS to you Kynn :-)
