Well, i weighed myself last night, and it said 171lbs, and then of course after i ate breakfast, i weighed myself again and it said 169...is that normal..i mean to lose that fast. I guess it makes me feel like i can do this, i can make my goals. I dont want to get over zealous but i am excited to see the scale finally tip in the right direction, i guess we will see when i weigh myself again tonight!

The best thing to do is weigh yourself the same time, with the same outfit everyday. The number on the scale will go up and down all day for many reasons (sodiom, liquids, food you eat). If it drives you crazy to see the scale go up and down, it would probably be best just to weigh in once a week. It takes the loss of 3500 calories to actually lose a pound of fat. So most likely what you experienced is water weight. Our bodies are mostly made up of water. Remember, the scale is just a number. There are many ways to measure weight loss success (how your clothes look, walking up the stairs without having trouble breathing, etc). Good luck!
