Well, yesterday's high of losing 2 pounds was quickly deflated by today's weigh in with a gain of 2 pounds. I just don't understand it. I only ate 1000 calories and walked 2 1/2 miles. just to gain it back. Makes you want to wallow in a box of chocolate. I know there will be ups and downs but today just really hit hard.

I would encourage you NOT to weigh in every day. Two or three times a week is sufficient and then you get a more realistic view of what is really happening. I know it is hard to do that when you know you are really doing a good job. I also looked at you diary and I don't think you are eating all of your points. Exercise is really good for you but it is not unusual for your body to retain fluid if you are just starting out. It is called muscle edema. Don't let the gain affect your efforts. Drink lots of water and the edema WILL go away. You CAN do this!!!!!!!

Weight loss is cumulative. It is what you do over time that counts. The two pounds could be from too much sodium yesterday. You know you were on plan, so it will eventually show on the scale. Don't let the number on the scale stop you. You are doing great.

Thanks so much!! ya'll are so right. I need to go back and just concentrate on my points and not the scales. I am allowed 25, I eat the pre-made meals. I need to learn how to cook for myself instead of using them. They are good, well, most of them but sometimes just not satisfying enough, then I get scared I will over snack.

Ya I agree with MJPrich and don't weigh everyday as it can discourage you. Your body fluctuates alot from day to day. The prepared meals maybe increasing your sodium which results in fluid retention. Those meals also have added sugar and stuff you would never put in if made from scratch. Check out the Eat This- Not That books and you'll be amazed at how these prepared items can screw up our best plans.
